MCLA's Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) provides campuswide access to the Chronicle of Higher Education via the library. Anyone on campus (connected to the MCLA network) can access the subscription just by visiting Chronicle.com.  From off campus, you either need to use a specially configured link that will prompt you to authenticate with your MCLA credentials (https://libproxy.mcla.edu/login?url=http://chronicle.com), OR, if you create (or already have) a free user account on Chronicle.com using your mcla.edu email address, you can log in to that account and access to the institutional subscription should be seamless.
